I’m very tired. My husband is the range safety officer for his unit this week, and had to be up at 3 am today. Naturally, I ended up waking up when he left, so I’ve been up since 4 am. I just wanted to give you all a heads up in case this post ends up being all over the place. Lol.
So, I’ve been really busy, and last week was a bit insane. While I wasn’t on social media much, I was definitely getting a lot done behind the scenes.
I had a very productive meeting with my PA, where we came up with new goals and a plan. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this confident in my author career, and I have very good feelings about it, too.
Last week, I focused on fixing my website, which I am so proud of, and talking to my PA about creating a designated Street Team group, as well as a designated Street Team folder to make it easier for those on the team to get to graphics and teasers. We came up with a plan for my ARC team, and I’m working on building a solid Beta Team, too.
A solid Beta team is so important because they help ensure that there are no plot holes or major mistakes/deviations from the story. I have a really good team now, but it’s a bit smaller than I’d like.
All my teams are works in progress, and will probably be ongoing progress, which I am perfectly okay with.
I went through my story idea notebook, too, because I plan on starting to plot/plan future books on my Admin Days once I complete the rest of my tasks. I feel that by doing this, it will help me be able to write my books faster, and in turn, help to avoid large breaks in publishing like the one I am currently on.
Currently, I’m working on plotting/planning my current series, but once that’s done, I plan on working on the second book in the Deal Duet and the Forest Hollow Revamp. I am really excited about all of these projects, but I have to slow down and take them one at a time. Unfortunately. LOL.
This week, I am going to continue building my teams, work on the Teaser: Master Document, and finish building/expanding the plot of this current series. Hopefully, I’ll also be able to get a chapter or two written, depending on how the plot planning goes!
All of this is on top of my Pharmacy Tech course, too, which I am now 75% done with. Needless to say, I am actually very proud of myself. I feel like I have already accomplished so much, and I am still plugging along. I have every intention of continuing to do so, too.
Well, I think that’s all the update I have for this week. Until next time, Happy Reading! <3
